National Central University (NCU) is located on a serene hilltop in Jhongli City, Taiwan. The campus covers up to 62.5 hectares, surrounded by fine green pines, a symbolic of the spirit of NCU.
Founded in 1915 and ranked among the best universities in China, such as Beijing University and Chinghua University, NCU was re-established in Jhongli, Taiwan in 1962. Since then it has developed from a graduate institute of Geophysics to a full university status with six colleges and more than thirty departments and graduate schools.
As a research institute, NCU has obtained many fundings for excellent projects and is involved in several national projects. Hosting a large number of conferences annually and participating in international cooperations, NCU aims to continue to be a top university in Taiwan. |
